Description
wpDiscuz Online Users is an add-on for the wpDiscuz commenting plugin. It marks comment authors as online or offline and updates those badges in real time without reloading the page. It also shows a pop-up notification with the name, avatar and last comment of a user who has just signed in.
Key Features
- Online/offline badges – Each comment author's name gets a badge on the right showing whether that user is currently online or offline.
- Real-time badge updates – User statuses are checked continuously and the badges change on the comment list without a page reload.
- Login pop-up notification – When someone signs in, a pop-up shows that user's name, avatar and last comment with a link to it.
- Style and options – The add-on includes a set of options and front-end style settings for how it appears.
- Requires wpDiscuz 7.0.0 – This add-on depends on the wpDiscuz plugin and needs at least version 7.0.0 to run.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for site owners already using the wpDiscuz commenting plugin who want to show which commenters are currently online and highlight new logins. It suits communities and blogs where visible activity around comments is useful.
