Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form) when you register or when an account is created for you at checkout.
  • Order and billing information: the products or VIP plan you buy, order totals and the billing details you enter at checkout.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We never receive or store your full card or bank details; PayPal handles them under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Sign-In information: if you choose “Sign in with Google”, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID from Google.
  • Download and usage information: which files you download, when, and your IP address, used to enforce download limits and prevent abuse.
  • Messages: the name, email and message you send through our contact form.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded in standard server logs.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
  • To process orders, deliver downloads and provide VIP membership access.
  • To send transactional emails such as order confirmations, account setup and password reset emails.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we request only basic profile scopes (openid, email, profile). This data is used solely to create your ThemeForWP account or sign you in to it. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the Site (for example, our hosting provider). Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and complete checkout. These cookies are required for the Site to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features, such as signing in and buying, will not work without them.

Sharing with service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Site: our hosting provider, PayPal (payments), our email delivery provider (transactional emails), Google (if you use Google Sign-In) and our file storage provider (product files; no personal data is stored with product files). You can view and update your account details at any time on the My Account page. You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it.

Security

The Site uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored hashed, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
