Description
The Variable Pricing Add On works with Paid Memberships Pro to offer pay-what-you-want memberships. At checkout, members type in their own price for a level, and that amount replaces the default initial and recurring payment. Admins can set a price range and a suggested amount to guide contributions.
Key Features
- Custom Price at Checkout – Members see an input field at checkout where they enter the amount they want to pay for the membership level.
- Suggested Price Pre-fill – A recommended amount can be shown in the price field by default, and members are free to change it.
- Recurring Payment Support – When a level uses recurring subscriptions, the member's chosen amount is applied to the recurring payment as well.
- Per-Level Pricing Rules – Variable pricing is turned on per membership level, so different levels can have their own pricing setup.
- Enable Per Membership Level – In the level settings, an admin checks an option to switch on variable pricing for that level.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for membership site owners using Paid Memberships Pro who want donation-based or pay-what-you-want pricing. It suits nonprofits, arts organizations, and community groups that let supporters choose their own contribution amount.
