Description
WPtouch Pro is a WordPress plugin that gives mobile visitors their own version of your site on the same URLs, leaving your desktop theme untouched. It ships with a range of mobile themes and a setup wizard, and it detects mobile devices before sending content so visitors don't download what they don't need.
Key Features
- Same URLs on Mobile – Mobile visitors see your content at the same addresses as desktop visitors, so links and search results keep working.
- Desktop Theme Unchanged – Your existing desktop theme and content stay as they are; WPtouch themes are only shown to mobile visitors.
- Multiple Mobile Themes – You pick from a set of themes built specifically for mobile screens rather than adapting a desktop layout.
- Include and Exclude Pages – You decide which menus, pages and devices get the mobile treatment, and can set separate homepage and blog landing pages.
- Device Specific Targeting – You choose which kinds of mobile devices are allowed to trigger the mobile theme.
- Setup Wizard – A guided wizard walks you through configuring and launching the mobile version of your site.
- Customizer Support – Mobile theme settings can be adjusted through the standard WordPress Customizer.
- Mobile Friendly for Search – The plugin makes your site eligible for Google's mobile friendly tag, which the page ties to mobile search rankings.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WordPress site owners who want a dedicated mobile version of their site without replacing their desktop theme. It suits blogs, content sites and stores that need touch-friendly navigation and control over which pages and devices see the mobile layout.
