Description
The Paid Memberships Pro PayPal Gateway is a WordPress plugin that links your membership site to PayPal using its modern REST APIs. It handles one-time purchases and gateway-managed recurring subscriptions, with checkout taking place on a PayPal-hosted page.
Key Features
- One-Time Payments – Members can make single payments through PayPal's Orders V2 API.
- Recurring Subscriptions – The plugin manages automatic recurring subscriptions through PayPal's Subscriptions API v1.
- Automatic Webhooks – Webhooks are registered automatically so checkout, renewal, cancellation, and refund events sync back to your site.
- Refunds from Admin – You can issue refunds for one-time and subscription payments directly from the PMPro admin.
- Secondary Gateway – PayPal can be offered as a secondary payment gateway alongside another primary gateway at checkout.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WordPress site owners running Paid Memberships Pro who want to accept PayPal payments for memberships. It suits those who need both one-time and recurring payment options through PayPal.
