GamiPress Notifications

GamiPress Notifications is a WordPress plugin that alerts users while they browse your site whenever a GamiPress action gives them something. Alerts appear without reloading the page, and you can choose which notification types are shown. You can also set title patterns, positions, colors, sounds and how long each notification stays visible.

Key Features

• Live notifications – Users are alerted about new achievements, steps, points awards, points deductions, ranks and rank requirement completions as they happen, with no page reload needed.
• Selective disabling – You can turn off individual notification types so only the ones you want are delivered to users.
• Eight positions – Notifications can be placed in any of eight positions on the screen to fit your layout.
• Notification lifetime – You decide how long each new notification remains on screen.
• Click to hide – Users can dismiss a notification by clicking it instead of waiting for it to disappear.
• Sound effects – Notification sounds can be customized so alerts are also audible.
• Color controls – Background and text colors of notifications can be adjusted to match your site.
• Auto-hide delay – You can switch on automatic hiding and set the delay before a notification disappears.

Who Is It For

This plugin suits owners of gamified WordPress sites, educational platforms and community forums where achievements are celebrated and users need to be told about them right away. It requires GamiPress 2.0.0 or later.
