Description
This add-on registers your GamiPress points types as payment gateways in Easy Digital Downloads, so customers can complete a purchase by spending points. You define the conversion rate for each points type, and the plugin works out the points needed at checkout. If an order is refunded, the customer's points are restored.
Key Features
- Points as payment gateway – Each of your GamiPress points types can be enabled as a payment gateway in Easy Digital Downloads, so buyers can pay with points instead of another method.
- Per-type conversion rates – You can set a different conversion rate for every points type, so each one can be valued separately.
- Automatic conversion at checkout – Once a conversion rate is defined, the add-on performs the points conversion automatically on every purchase.
- Points shown at checkout – The points total appears at checkout and on the purchase receipt, so customers see the amount involved in the order.
- Points restored on refund – When an order is refunded, the points the customer spent are returned to their account.
- Points go to the vendor – Points paid through this gateway are awarded to the vendor of the download being purchased.
Who Is It For
It is aimed at Easy Digital Downloads store owners who already run a GamiPress points program and want customers to be able to spend those points on purchases. It suits shops selling digital goods where loyalty points are part of the buying cycle.
