EDD Message is an extension for Easy Digital Downloads that adds direct messaging from your store dashboard. You can craft a unique message for a specific customer or vendor, attach files, and keep a record of what was sent. It also works with Frontend Submissions so vendors can message their own customers.
Key Features
- Direct customer messages – The customer page in your dashboard gains a view where you can write and send a custom message to that customer.
- File attachments – Messages sent to customers and vendors can carry attachments, so you can pass along files along with your note.
- Amazon S3 attachments – If you use the Amazon S3 extension, you can pick files from your S3 buckets to attach to a message.
- Message logging – A record of every message you send is kept, visible on that customer's Message view and in a table under Reports, Logs.
- Messaging vendors – When you open a vendor in the dashboard, a dedicated view lets you send that vendor a message directly.
- Vendors message customers – With Frontend Submissions, vendors get a form for emailing customers who bought their products.
