Description
Limit Logins is an add-on for Paid Memberships Pro that restricts simultaneous logins for the same user account. Each login gets its own session ID, and when a session no longer matches the latest one, the user is logged out and sent to the login page or a custom URL.
Key Features
- Simultaneous Login Limits – You decide how many active sessions one account may have at the same time, with one session as the default.
- Customizable Session Limits – The allowed number of concurrent sessions per user can be changed to fit how your site is used.
- Automatic Logout – When a user goes past the limit, the older session is ended for them.
- Redirect Options – Flagged users are sent to a URL you choose after being logged out.
- Admin Session Reset – Administrators can clear a user's active sessions from the WordPress admin, forcing a fresh login next time.
- User Notifications – Members can be told when their sessions are about to be logged out.
- Session Tracking – Every login attempt is given a unique session ID that is checked on each page load.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for owners of paid membership sites who want each membership used by the intended person, especially sites with premium content or services where shared credentials cut into revenue. It requires the Paid Memberships Pro plugin to be installed and active.
