Description
The Soliloquy PDF Slider Addon is a WordPress plugin that builds sliders from PDF files, including presentation slides. It converts the PDF into slides and renders the pages as images inside the Soliloquy slider interface.
Key Features
- Sliders from PDFs – You can build a slider directly from a PDF file, so presentation slides and similar documents appear as slides on your site.
- PDF pages as slides – Each page of the PDF becomes a slide, letting a document be viewed as an interactive slideshow rather than a static file.
- Background conversion – The PDF is converted while you keep working elsewhere in the WordPress admin, and you are notified when it finishes.
- Conversion time varies – How long the conversion takes depends on how large the PDF file is.
- Formatting kept intact – PDF was chosen as the input format because it preserves fonts, formatting, and images from the original document.
- Host slides yourself – Presenters can publish their slides on their own website instead of handing them over to a third-party service.
Who Is It For
This addon suits speakers, presenters, and site owners who want to publish presentation slides or other PDF documents on their own WordPress site as sliders. It is intended for users already working with the Soliloquy slider plugin.
