Description
MonsterInsights Dimensions Addon is a WordPress plugin that sends WordPress-specific data to Google Analytics as custom dimensions. It lets you track author, category, tag, post type, published time, SEO score, focus keyphrase, and logged-in user data, then view each dimension in a report inside WordPress. No coding is required to set it up.
Key Features
- Category Tracking – View pageviews grouped by WordPress category to see which content topics attract the most readers.
- Tag Tracking – See pageviews grouped by tag, so you know which subtopics your audience wants more of.
- Post Type Tracking – Get traffic broken down by custom post type to see which content format performs best.
- Published Time Tracking – See which days and times consistently get the most traffic so you can time your posts.
- TruSeo Score Tracking – See the SEO score assigned by your plugin alongside real traffic data for each post.
- Focus Keyphrase Tracking – See the target keyphrase set in your SEO plugin for each post alongside its pageviews.
- Logged-In User Tracking – Track logged-in users separately and connect individual sessions to specific members or customers in Google Analytics.
Who Is It For
This addon is for WordPress publishers, content teams, and site owners who already use MonsterInsights and want WordPress-specific analytics data in Google Analytics. It suits teams that publish with multiple authors or across many categories, tags, and post types, and who want to compare content performance without writing code.
