Description
WPMU DEV MarketPress eCommerce is a WordPress plugin that turns a site into an online store for physical and digital goods. It handles the cart, checkout, payment processing, and order management itself, so it works as a lighter option for simpler stores.
Key Features
- Physical and digital products – You can sell both tangible goods and downloadable digital items from your store.
- Built-in cart and checkout – Shoppers get a shopping cart and a checkout flow as part of the plugin.
- Payment processing – The plugin handles taking payment as part of the buying process.
- Order management – Orders placed in the store can be managed from within the plugin.
- No WooCommerce required – The store runs on its own, without needing WooCommerce installed.
Who Is It For
This plugin suits store owners who want to sell physical or digital products on WordPress and prefer a simpler setup than a full e-commerce platform. It fits smaller shops whose needs are covered by a cart, checkout, payments, and order management.
