Description
The Soliloquy Featured Content Addon builds responsive sliders from content already on your WordPress site, such as blog posts, pages, or custom post types. You can filter which items appear by post type, taxonomy, or by choosing specific posts to include or exclude. Slides can show just an image, an image with an excerpt, or a linked image with a title and excerpt.
Key Features
- Multiple post types – Build a slider from one post type or combine several at once, such as posts, pages, and products.
- Multiple taxonomy filters – Narrow the slides down using one or more taxonomies, like categories or tags.
- Include or exclude posts – Pick individual posts to show in the slider or leave certain ones out.
- Flexible slide ordering – Arrange slides by date, menu order, or other ordering options available through WP_Query.
- Content display options – Choose whether each slide shows only an image, an image with an excerpt, or a linked image with a title and excerpt.
- Responsive sliders – The sliders created from your site content adapt to different screen sizes.
Who Is It For
This addon is for WordPress site owners and developers who already use Soliloquy and want sliders driven by existing content rather than manually built slides. It suits sites with blogs, testimonials, property listings, or other custom post types that need a featured content slider.
