Description
This add-on integrates Paid Memberships Pro with Download Monitor, letting you protect downloadable files by membership level. On each download's edit screen you choose which levels may access it, and the download output changes for visitors who are not logged in or do not meet the requirement. It requires both Paid Memberships Pro and Download Monitor to be installed and active.
Key Features
- Members-Only Downloads – You set which membership levels may access a download from its edit screen in Download Monitor.
- Membership Level Selection – In the Require Membership box on the download edit screen, you pick one or more levels that can access that download.
- Restricted Content Behavior – Visitors who are not logged in or lack the required level do not see the download link; they see a restricted version of the chosen template instead.
- Download Tracking – You can see which downloads members are most interested in.
- Conversion Redirect – When non-members try to open a protected download, they are sent to your membership levels or pricing page.
- Download Button Block – You can place a download in a post or page with the Download Button block and configure it in the block settings.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for WordPress site owners and developers running membership sites who sell or gate digital files such as eBooks, software, or other downloads. It suits sites already using Paid Memberships Pro and Download Monitor that want downloads limited to specific membership levels.
