Description
This Add On extends the Paid Memberships Pro checkout form with first and last name fields. The fields appear in the same Account Information section as username, email, and password, and the names are saved to the member's profile. It has no settings of its own.
Key Features
- Name Fields at Checkout – Two name fields are added to the membership checkout form automatically once the Add On is active.
- Account Information Section – The name fields sit alongside the other account details rather than in a separate area of the form.
- Names Saved to Profile – The first and last names collected at signup are stored on the member's WordPress user profile.
- Personalized Communication – Because the member's name is known, it can be used in emails, newsletters, and membership cards.
- Member Directory Names – The member's full name can be shown in places such as the Member Directory or community profiles.
- Required Field Filters – Filter hooks let custom code make the first or last name optional instead of required.
Who Is It For
It suits membership sites built on Paid Memberships Pro that want to know members by name, such as associations, communities, and networking or event-based sites. It is also useful where a real name supports customer service, certifications, or regulatory requirements.
