Description
Ninja Forms Webhooks is a WordPress add-on that delivers Ninja Forms submissions to external services through HTTP webhook requests. You choose a destination URL, map your form fields to the parameter names your endpoint expects, and the data is sent the moment someone submits. It is meant for cases where no ready-made integration exists and your receiving system can accept an HTTP request.
Key Features
- Send to Any URL – You enter any endpoint URL and Ninja Forms delivers submission data there on every form submit, so custom APIs, internal tools, and services with a webhook endpoint can all receive your form data.
- GET and POST Support – A dropdown in the webhook action settings lets you pick whether data travels in the request body as POST or as query string parameters in the URL as GET.
- Field-to-Parameter Mapping – The ARGS key-value interface lets you name each parameter your endpoint expects and pull in the matching form field with a merge tag, without writing code.
- JSON Payload Format – Turning on the JSON encoding option formats your mapped fields as a structured JSON object, which is the shape most REST APIs and custom backends expect.
- Multiple Webhooks per Form – You can attach more than one Webhooks action to a single form so each configured endpoint gets the submission independently.
- Runs Alongside Other Actions – Adding a webhook does not replace your existing form behavior; email notifications, submission storage, and other actions still run as before.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for WordPress site owners and developers using Ninja Forms who need submissions to reach a system that has no ready-made integration. It suits anyone connecting forms to custom APIs, internal tools, serverless functions, or other services that accept HTTP requests.
