Description
GamiPress Social Share is an add-on for GamiPress that rewards users for sharing content from your site on social networks. It adds new activity events so you can award points and badges for sharing, and it lets you place share buttons in-line or in a sidebar. It supports Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Pinterest.
Key Features
- Reward Sharing Activity – You can give users points and badges when they share your content, driven by the add-on's new activity events.
- Reward Post Authors – Content creators can also be rewarded when their posts get shared on social networks.
- Shortcode Placement – A shortcode lets you drop the share buttons anywhere on a page or post.
- Sidebar Widget – A configurable widget places the share buttons in any sidebar.
- Automatic Button Appending – A setting can add the share buttons to any post type automatically.
- Specific URL Events – You can set up events that trigger when a user shares one particular URL on a social network.
- Specific Network Events – Events can be limited to a single social network rather than any network.
- Supported Networks – The share buttons cover Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Pinterest.
Who Is It For
This add-on suits site owners who rely on user-generated content or social sharing to bring in traffic, and who already use GamiPress to reward their members. It is aimed at sites that want to encourage visitors and authors to promote content across their own social networks.
