EventOn Subscriber

EventOn Subscriber is an addon for the EventON calendar that adds an event subscription system to your WordPress site. Visitors sign up to be notified by email about upcoming events, and can choose which event types they want to follow. You can place a subscribe button on a calendar or anywhere on your site with a shortcode, and manage subscribers from the admin.

Key Features

• Subscription Button Anywhere – Place a subscribe button on any calendar or as a standalone button using a shortcode.
• Subscribe to Event Types – Subscribers can limit their notifications to specific event types by selecting the terms they care about.
• New Event Emails – Emails go out automatically when you publish a new event, and you can edit the message content in the settings.
• Lightbox Subscribe Form – The subscribe form opens in a lightbox from anywhere on your site, and its fields can be adjusted in the settings.
• Subscriber Manager – Subscribers can handle their own subscription from the front end, including unsubscribing, subscribing again, or changing event type terms.
• MailChimp Integration – If you also use the MailChimp addon, you can connect it to keep your subscriber email list in sync.
• CSV Subscriber Export – From the subscriber settings you can download the full subscriber list as a .csv file.
• Logged-in Restriction – You can limit the subscription form so only logged-in users of your site can use it.

Who Is It For

This addon is for WordPress site owners already running the EventON calendar who want to build an audience around their events. It suits organizations and publishers that run recurring or themed events, such as community event series or festivals, and want attendees to hear about new listings by email.
