Description
EventOn Filters Plus is a WordPress addon that expands the filtering options of an EventON calendar. It lets visitors interactively refine events by criteria such as categories, locations, or custom taxonomies. Filters can appear in a lightbox, on the side of the calendar, or as a fast filter bar in the header.
Key Features
- Side Filter Placement – Filters can be displayed along the side of the calendar rather than in the usual top filter area.
- Fast Filter Bar – A fast filter bar can be added to the calendar header, using event type #1 with icons on each term.
- Search Within Filters – Each event filter type can include a real-time search bar so visitors locate a term in a long list quickly.
- See All Terms – When filter term lists are long, the side filter can show only the first few with a button to reveal the rest.
- Lightbox Filters – A lightbox version of the filters provides interactive event type selection, time of the day sliders, and filter options.
- Shortcode Generator Integration – The block based shortcode generator in the WordPress admin lets you add Filters Plus into your calendar.
- Custom Filter Types – Filter types such as categories, locations, or custom taxonomies can be customized, with multi-select or dropdown interfaces.
Who Is It For
This addon is for site owners already running the EventON calendar plugin who want visitors to narrow events by more specific criteria. It suits calendars with many events, venues, or categories where attendees need to find relevant listings quickly.
