Description
This extension makes Directorist and BuddyPress operate as one integrated app, so a listings directory and a social network can run together. Directorist can use the BuddyPress registration form to add new directory users, and members get Listings, Favorites, and Add Listing tabs on their profiles.
Key Features
- Listings on Profiles – Members can see their directory listings directly on their BuddyPress profile page.
- Add Listings from Profile – Users can submit new directory listings from their own profile page.
- Favorite Listings – Members can mark listings as favorites from their profile page.
- Assign Listings to Groups – Listings can be assigned to BuddyPress groups, and group members can view listings specific to that group.
- Activity Feed Listings – Directory activity appears in the BuddyPress activity feed so members can follow what is happening.
- Share Listings on Timeline – Members can share directory listings on their timeline.
- BuddyPress Login Redirect – Directorist's login and registration pages can be redirected to the BuddyPress equivalents.
- Listing Count Badge – A badge displays the listing count.
Who Is It For
It is aimed at directory site owners and community builders who already run BuddyPress and want their listings and social network to work as one site. It suits those who want members to submit, favorite, and share listings without leaving the community platform.
