AffiliateWP – Lifetime Commissions

This AffiliateWP add-on ties a customer to the affiliate who first referred them. Once linked, the affiliate receives a commission on all later purchases by that customer, even if cookies are cleared or a different computer is used. Links can be managed per affiliate or site-wide.

Key Features

• Ongoing commission attribution – After the first referral, the linked affiliate earns a commission on every subsequent purchase the customer makes.
• Cookie-independent tracking – The affiliate still gets credit even if the customer clears browser cookies or buys from another computer.
• Guest purchase matching – For logged-out purchases, the customer's email address is used to find the linked affiliate.
• Logged-in user matching – When the customer is logged in, their WordPress user ID identifies the linked affiliate.
• Email address updates – If a logged-in customer changes their email, the new address is stored with the linked affiliate so future guest purchases still count.
• Per-affiliate enablement – Lifetime commissions can be turned on for all affiliates or set individually for each affiliate.
• Admin customer linking – You can link a customer with a user account to an affiliate directly from the WordPress admin.
• Relationship duration limits – You can set how long a lifetime customer relationship lasts.

Who Is It For

This add-on is for store owners and affiliate managers already using AffiliateWP who want to reward the affiliate who first brought a customer in, on every later purchase that customer makes.
