Description
Easy Digital Downloads Simple Shipping is an extension for Easy Digital Downloads that adds basic shipping support for stores that mostly sell digital products but also offer a few physical items. It collects shipping information during checkout, applies flat domestic and international rates, and lets you track which orders have been shipped. Shipping can be turned on per product, and even per price option for products with multiple prices.
Key Features
- Flat-rate shipping – Set one flat shipping rate for domestic orders and another for international orders, with no weight, size, or distance calculations.
- Per-product shipping – Enable shipping on individual products, and on individual price options for products that offer multiple prices.
- Checkout shipping details – Collect the customer's shipping information as part of the checkout process.
- Shipped order tracking – Mark payments as shipped or not shipped so you can keep track of which orders have gone out.
- Unshipped orders export – Export all orders that have not yet been shipped from the Downloads reports export screen.
- Tracking numbers – Add a tracking number to each order and send the customer an email confirmation containing it.
- Frontend Submissions support – If you run a marketplace with the Frontend Submissions extension, vendors can set their own shipping rates.
Who Is It For
This extension is for Easy Digital Downloads store owners who mainly sell digital products but also offer a small number of physical items, such as DVDs, CDs, or t-shirts. It also suits marketplace operators using the Frontend Submissions extension, since vendors can set their own shipping rates.
