Description
GamiPress Credly is a WordPress add-on that links GamiPress achievements to the Credly digital credentials platform. Achievements you choose can be synced so they are issued automatically on Credly when a user earns them, and they become Open Badge compatible. The add-on also brings your existing Credly badges into your site and offers ways for users to connect their Credly accounts.
Key Features
- Sync chosen achievements – You pick which GamiPress achievements are connected to Credly, rather than syncing everything.
- Open Badge compatible – Achievements on your site can be made compatible with the Open Badge format.
- Automatic issuance – When a user earns a synced achievement, the credential is issued on Credly without manual steps.
- Import existing badges – Badges you already have on Credly can be brought into your GamiPress setup.
- Auto-sync user accounts – There is an option to keep your users' accounts synchronized with Credly automatically.
- Credly sync form block – A block lets you place a form where users connect their Credly account.
- Sync form shortcode – A shortcode places the same Credly sync form anywhere, and works with the GamiPress live shortcode embedder.
- Sync form widget – A widget puts the Credly sync form in any sidebar.
Who Is It For
This add-on suits site owners already using GamiPress who want their achievements recognized as verifiable digital credentials through Credly. The reference notes it is particularly useful for educational institutions, online course providers, and organizations that use gamification to motivate users.
