Description
The Gravity Flow Folders Extension lets Gravity Flow administrators sort workflow entries into folders, either by a logical scheme or any grouping they choose. Folders can be shown in the WordPress admin and on the front end with a shortcode, and access is permission-based. Entries can sit in more than one folder and be filtered by form and field values.
Key Features
- Folder Organization – Administrators can create folders and place workflow entries into them to keep things grouped.
- Front-end Shortcode – A shortcode shows folders on the front end, listing only the folders the current user may access.
- Admin Interface – Folders can also be managed from the WordPress admin interface rather than only on the front end.
- Permission-Based Access – Anyone granted access to a folder can reach every entry inside it, even without being an admin or the submitter.
- Entry Filtering – Entries inside a folder can be narrowed down by form and field values.
- Multiple Folders – A single entry can belong to several folders at once for flexible categorization.
- Add to Folder Step – A workflow step places entries into a folder as the workflow runs.
- Remove from Folder Step – A matching workflow step takes entries out of a folder, and admins can do the same manually.
Who Is It For
This extension suits teams and organizations running Gravity Flow workflows who need to give specific groups of people access to particular entries, such as departments sorting work by project or task. It is aimed at administrators who want entries grouped and shared without making everyone an admin or the original submitter.
