Description
SearchWP bbPress Integration is a WordPress plugin that extends SearchWP so bbPress forum content can be indexed and searched. It includes forum topics and replies in WordPress search results, which bbPress leaves out by default. You can also adjust how results are ranked and add instant live search suggestions.
Key Features
- Index Forum Topics and Replies – Both bbPress forum topics and replies are added to the search index so forum content can be found through WordPress search.
- Include Forum Posts in Search – Forum posts that bbPress normally keeps out of WordPress search are included in the results.
- One-Click Activation – The bbPress integration is switched on with a single click to start including forum content in search.
- Customizable Search Algorithm – Flexible algorithm settings let you change how much weight forum topics and replies carry in search relevance.
- Live Ajax Instant Search – Relevant results appear as visitors type, using Ajax live autofill search.
- Prioritize Forum Results – You can control the ranking of bbPress forum search results by keyword and promote chosen results.
- Search Analytics – Visitor search behavior is tracked so you can refine bbPress search and forum content based on trends.
- Embed Custom Searches – Custom bbPress searches can be placed on your site using a Gutenberg block or a search modal.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WordPress site owners and developers running bbPress forums who want forum topics and replies to appear in site search. It suits anyone who needs more control over how forum content is ranked and discovered, without writing code.
