Description
WooCommerce Perfect SEO Url is a WordPress plugin that strips the /product and /product-category slugs from WooCommerce product and category URLs. It also creates 301 redirects from the old addresses to the new ones, so existing links and search indexation are preserved.
Key Features
- Removes product slugs – The plugin deletes the /product and /product-category segments WooCommerce adds to product and category URLs.
- Automatic 301 redirects – Old product and category URLs are redirected to their new addresses, so visitors do not land on 404 pages.
- Canonical URLs – Each product gets one unique canonical URL even when it can be reached from more than one destination.
- URL-based breadcrumbs – The breadcrumb trail matches the URL where the product is currently being viewed.
- Multiple product URLs – A product can have several URLs while still pointing to the same endpoint, which helps when it belongs to multiple categories.
- Plug and play setup – URLs change right after installation, with no programming knowledge required.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WooCommerce store owners and SEO specialists who want cleaner product and category URLs without losing existing links or search visibility.
