Description

Permalink Manager Pro is a WordPress plugin for controlling your site's URL structure. It lets you define permalink structures per post type and taxonomy, edit individual URLs, and automatically redirect old links so changes don't cause 404 errors.

Key Features

  • Custom permastructures – You can set a separate permalink structure for each post type and taxonomy, including types WordPress doesn't cover by default, and apply it to existing items in bulk.
  • Individual URL editing – Beyond the slug, you can edit the full permalink of any post, page, category, custom post type item, or taxonomy term.
  • Bulk URL editor – A single admin screen lets you adjust many individual URLs at the same time instead of editing them one by one.
  • Automatic redirects – When a URL changes, the plugin redirects the old address to the new one on its own, so existing links and search engine crawlers don't hit 404 pages.
  • WooCommerce URL control – For WooCommerce stores, you can build readable product and product-category URLs, for example by removing "/product/" and "/product-category/" or including SKUs.
  • Custom fields in URLs – You can insert custom field values into permalinks through the admin interface, without writing PHP snippets.
  • No-code setup – URL structures and individual permalinks are configured from the WordPress admin, so you don't need to write code or prompts.

Who Is It For

This plugin is for WordPress site owners, developers, and store managers who want control over URL structures beyond the default permalink settings. It suits sites with custom post types, taxonomies, WooCommerce products, or multilingual content, and anyone who needs to change URLs without breaking existing links.
