Description
Sell Media Watermark is a WordPress plugin that adds watermarks to your images. You upload a watermark image of your choice and apply it to all large images on your site or only to the ones you sell with Sell Media. The original source file is left untouched, and images must be hosted locally rather than on a CDN.
Key Features
- One-Click Watermarking – Apply your watermark to large images with a single click instead of editing each image by hand.
- Watermark All Images – A settings checkbox lets you watermark every large image on the site, not just the ones you sell.
- Original File Untouched – The extension does not watermark the original source file, which Sell Media already protects.
- No Image Damage – Existing images are not overwritten or replaced, and no new image files are created.
- Local Hosting Required – Watermarking works on images stored on your own server, so images on a CDN are not covered.
- Transparent PNG Advice – The plugin recommends a transparent PNG watermark that is smaller than the image it covers.
Who Is It For
This extension is aimed at photographers and store owners who sell images through the Sell Media plugin and want to discourage screenshot use and image theft. It suits anyone who needs to mark many large images at once rather than editing them individually.
