Description
This add-on works with Paid Memberships Pro to make sure active members fill in required profile fields before they can reach membership-restricted content. Members with missing required fields are sent to the Edit Profile page, and access returns automatically once the fields are saved. Account, billing, checkout, and confirmation pages stay open the whole time.
Key Features
- Redirect on login – Members who still have required fields missing are sent to the Edit Profile page right after logging in instead of their intended destination.
- Restricted content blocked – Pages and posts that require a membership stay closed to members whose required fields are not yet complete.
- Account pages stay open – Members can still reach PMPro frontend pages such as account, billing, checkout, and confirmation while completing their profile.
- Incomplete fields highlighted – The Edit Profile page marks each missing required field with an error state and a warning message listing them by label.
- Conditional fields respected – Fields that only apply under certain conditions are not counted as incomplete when those conditions are not met.
- Access restored automatically – Once the member saves a complete profile, restricted content opens again without any manual step.
- Configured in PMPro – There is no separate settings screen; which fields are required is set inside PMPro's User Fields module.
- Completion results cached – Field completion results are stored per user for ten minutes so the check does not run on every page load.
