Description
WooCommerce WorldPay is a payment gateway extension that connects your WooCommerce store to Worldpay. Customers pay on a secure hosted page in a single tab, and Worldpay handles major debit and credit cards. After payment the order is confirmed and the shopper returns to a Thank You page on your site.
Key Features
- Hosted payment page – Card details are entered on Worldpay's own secure page rather than on your store, so you do not need an SSL certificate for checkout.
- Single-tab checkout – The whole payment step happens without the shopper being sent into a separate window or tab.
- Major card schemes – Worldpay processes the well-known debit and credit card brands, including Diners, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Maestro and JCB.
- Thank You page return – Once the payment is finished, the order is confirmed and the customer lands on a Thank You page on your own site.
- MD5 transaction security – You can turn on the MD5 setting so transaction data carries an encrypted value used to check it was not altered on the way to Worldpay.
- Refunds and subscriptions – Processing refunds from your WooCommerce admin, or using Worldpay with WooCommerce Subscriptions, requires Remote Administration credentials that you must request from Worldpay.
