Description
Windcave Gateway for WooCommerce links your store to Windcave's hosted PxPay checkout, so customers enter their card details on Windcave's page and return to your store afterwards. From WooCommerce you can take one-time payments, run subscription renewals, issue refunds, and handle authorization transactions. An active Windcave merchant account with PxPay credentials is required, and PxPost credentials are needed for recurring payments, refunds, and completing authorizations.

- Hosted PxPay checkout – Customers type their card details on Windcave's hosted payment page rather than on your own checkout, which keeps card entry off your site.
- Subscription renewals – Scheduled renewal payments for WooCommerce Subscriptions are processed through PxPost, and multiple subscriptions are supported.
- Customer payment updates – Subscribers can swap the saved payment method tied to their subscription from their account, so an expired card can be replaced before the next renewal.
- Refunds from orders – Supported full or partial refunds are sent to Windcave from the WooCommerce order, keeping the transaction reference with the order.
- Authorize now, capture later – You can run the first transaction as an authorization and complete it from the order actions once the order is ready.
- Blocks and HPOS – The gateway works with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks and with High-Performance Order Storage.
- Transaction logging – Detailed transaction logging can be switched on when you need extra information for testing or support, and left off otherwise.
