WooCommerce Australia Post Shipping Method

This WooCommerce extension connects your store to the Australia Post Shipping API so shoppers see live postage rates during checkout. Rates are based on the destination plus the weight and dimensions of the items in the cart, and the extension can quote both domestic and international services.

Key Features

• Live API Rates – Rates come straight from Australia Post's API rather than being set manually, so the price shown reflects current carrier pricing for that cart.
• Domestic and International – The extension can quote services for parcels sent within Australia as well as to overseas destinations.
• Service Control – You can turn individual services on or off, change the names customers see, and attach extra costs to them.
• Box Packer – Instead of quoting each product separately, you can define boxes with set dimensions and weights and have items packed into them.
• Extra Services – Additional Australia Post options such as extra coverage and delivery confirmation can be switched on alongside the standard rate calculation.
• Cheapest Rate Option – You can choose to return every available rate so the customer decides, or return only the cheapest one to keep checkout simple.
• Unit Handling – The store works in centimetres and kilograms, and other measurement units can be converted automatically.

Who Is It For

It suits Australian merchants running a WooCommerce store in Australian Dollars who ship physical products and want postage priced by the carrier instead of flat or manual fees. It fits stores selling within Australia, overseas, or both, and works best when product weights and dimensions are accurate.
