Description
This Paid Memberships Pro Add On adds an “Email Me a Login Link” button to PMPro and WordPress login forms. Members enter their email or username, get a secure single-use link by email, and are logged in when they click it. Password login stays available as an alternative.
Key Features
- Passwordless login option – Members can log in through a one-time email link instead of typing a password, while password login remains available.
- Login link button – An “Email Me a Login Link” button is added to login forms so members can request the link directly.
- Works on both forms – The button and confirmation message appear on the WordPress default login page and on PMPro frontend login forms.
- Time-limited tokens – Each login link expires 15 minutes after it is generated, so old links cannot be used later.
- Single-use links – A login link only works once; the token is removed right after the member logs in.
- Request rate limiting – A member can request a new login link once every 5 minutes, which limits abuse.
- Editable email template – On PMPro 3.4 or higher, the login link email subject and body can be changed in PMPro’s Email Templates editor.
- Account privacy – The confirmation message is shown even when the email entered has no account, so the form does not reveal whether an account exists.
Who Is It For
