Description
This plugin adds a Unique ID field type to Gravity Forms. When a form is submitted, the field generates a unique identifier for that entry, and you choose whether it is alphanumeric, numeric, or sequential. You can also set a starting number, length, prefix, and suffix to shape the ID.
Key Features
- Unique ID field type – Adds a new field type to your form that produces a unique identifier for each entry when the form is submitted.
- Starting number – For sequential IDs you can define the number the sequence begins at.
- Fixed ID length – You can set how long the generated ID is, separate from any prefix or suffix.
- Merge tag display – The generated ID can be shown in confirmations, notifications, and other places through the field's merge tag.
- Included in all fields – Unique ID fields are part of the standard Gravity Forms {all_fields} output without extra setup.
- Generated after submission – The ID is filled in only once the form has been submitted successfully, which is how uniqueness is guaranteed.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WordPress site owners and developers already using Gravity Forms who need each entry to carry its own identifier, such as order numbers, ticket IDs, registration codes, or reference tracking.
