Description
Sell Media Free Downloads is a WordPress plugin that works with the Sell Media plugin to give away free downloads. When a visitor clicks the download button on an image, they are asked to enter their name and email address, and the plugin emails them the download. Their contact details are added to your mailing list in MailChimp.
Key Features
- Free download items – Marking an item as a free download swaps its Buy buttons for Download buttons.
- Name and email form – Visitors must submit their name and email address before the download is completed.
- Emailed download delivery – After the form is submitted, the plugin sends the download to the visitor by email.
- MailChimp integration – The contact information collected from the form is added to your MailChimp mailing list.
- MailChimp API key setup – You connect the extension to MailChimp by entering your API key in the plugin settings.
- Requires Sell Media – The extension runs alongside the free Sell Media plugin on WordPress.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for photographers and online store owners who already use the Sell Media plugin and want to grow an email list by giving away free downloads. It suits anyone running a photography storefront who wants to collect contact details in exchange for free content.
