Description
FacetWP Multilingual is a WordPress add-on that connects FacetWP with WPML and Polylang. It lets your faceted search and filtering adapt to the active language. It is meant for sites that serve content in more than one language.
Key Features
- WPML and Polylang integration – The add-on connects FacetWP with WPML or Polylang so your translations work with faceted search.
- Language-based indexing – Only posts tagged with the currently active language are indexed and shown in results.
- WPML string translation – With WPML, dynamic strings such as facet placeholder text can be translated through the WPML String Translation plugin.
- Supported permalink structures – The add-on works with sub-site and sub-directory permalinks, but not with URL strings like ?lang=fr.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for WordPress site owners and developers who already use FacetWP and run multilingual content with WPML or Polylang. It suits sites that need faceted search to follow the visitor's selected language.
