Description
EventOn Daily View is an addon for the EventON plugin that adds a daily calendar view. It shows events for a single day and lets visitors move between days with navigation controls. It is built for day-by-day schedules rather than full-month browsing.
Key Features
- Single-Day Event Display – The calendar can be set to show events for one day at a time instead of a whole month.
- Current Date Box – A focus box shows the selected date and how many events fall on it, with arrows for moving between days and months.
- AJAX Day Loading – When set to show today only, events for the next date load through AJAX after the arrow is clicked, which helps the calendar load faster.
- Shortcode Configuration – Admins control how the daily view appears through options in the EventON shortcode generator.
- Style Customization – Fonts, colors, hover effects and background styles for the daily view are adjusted from the EventON appearance settings.
- Event Filtering – The daily view works with EventON filtering so visitors can narrow the day's events by category or other criteria.
- Month Jumper – An optional month jumper in the settings lets users skip straight to a specific month and view its daily events.
Who Is It For
This addon suits site owners already running EventON who need day-focused schedules, such as conferences, festivals, appointment calendars and community activity listings, where visitors look up what is happening on a particular date.
