Description
Suidobashi is a clean, minimal WordPress theme made for showing creative work, with a blog running alongside the portfolio. The portfolio itself is built on Jetpack's portfolio projects, so the free Jetpack plugin has to be installed to use it. Theme settings live on their own options page and in the WordPress customizer.
Key Features
- Portfolio via Jetpack – Portfolio items are created with Jetpack's portfolio projects, so the free Jetpack plugin must be installed for the portfolio to work.
- Blog alongside portfolio – A standard WordPress blog can run next to the portfolio, for a news stream or a small journal.
- Custom About page – The About page template lets you pick its own background and text color, separate from the rest of the site.
- Header slogan and contact – In the customizer you can add a header slogan or intro text and put contact details such as an email address or phone number in the header.
- Logo and search options – You can fix the position of your logo image or site title and hide the search form.
- Wide content container – On project pages an extra div with the CSS class “wide-content” lets you place large images, videos or other content.
- More projects below – Additional projects appear under the current project's content so visitors can keep browsing your portfolio.
- Responsive layout – The theme adapts to different screen sizes, so the portfolio stays readable on smaller devices.
Who Is It For
It is aimed at designers, artists, photographers and other creatives who want to present their work in a minimal, clean and arty way, and who may also want a blog on the same site.
