Description
Easy Digital Downloads Upload File is a WordPress plugin that adds customer file uploads to an Easy Digital Downloads store. Uploads can happen before or after an order is completed, and the feature can be turned on for individual products so files are only requested when relevant. The plugin also lets you cap how many files can be uploaded and choose which file types are allowed.
Key Features
- Uploads before or after order – Customers can send files either during checkout or afterwards from their account area.
- Per-product uploads – You decide which products ask for files, so uploads only appear where they make sense.
- Maximum file count – You can set a limit on how many files a customer may upload.
- Allowed file types – Permitted file types can be configured globally and separately for each product.
- Chunked resumable uploads – Large files are uploaded in chunks and can resume, so size is not a practical barrier.
- Re-download from receipt – Customers can download their uploaded files again from the purchase receipt page.
- Files tied to products – Every uploaded file is attached to its product and listed in the dashboard's Purchase History.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for Easy Digital Downloads store owners who sell items that require customer input, such as services, custom apparel, or other products needing specifications or documents. It suits shops where buyers must submit files to complete an order.
