Description
Email Lock is an extension for Download Monitor that gates file downloads behind an email form. Visitors submit their email address and optionally their name before gaining access to the download. The extension also lets you manage the collected addresses and export them.
Key Features
- Email Gate – You can require visitors to submit their email address before they can access a download.
- Unlock Form Shortcode – A shortcode displays the email lock form and shows the download link once the form is submitted successfully.
- No Access Page – When a visitor clicks a download link without having unlocked it, a No Access page appears with the unlock form attached.
- Name Field – You can prompt users to enter their name in addition to their email address, and the field becomes mandatory.
- Opt-in Checkbox – You can add a customizable opt-in checkbox to the email lock forms so users can express consent.
- Email Download Link – Users can receive a download link by email after submitting their email address.
- Email Logs – You can view and export logs of collected email addresses and their downloads from the WordPress dashboard.
