Description
WooCommerce Order Status Change Notifier is a WordPress plugin for WooCommerce stores that ties order status changes together with notes and email notifications. You can change a status, record a reason for it, and decide whether the customer is notified, all in one step. Status comments can also be carried into WooCommerce email templates and third-party notifications.
Key Features
- Status Change Notes – Add a reason or comment while changing an order's status, so the record explains why the change happened.
- Notify Customer Control – A checkbox decides whether the customer receives an email about the status change; leave it unticked and no email goes out.
- Comments as Private Notes – After a status change, any comment you entered is saved on the order as a private note.
- Notes in Native Emails – When you notify the customer, the status comment is inserted into enabled native WooCommerce email templates right after the order information.
- Custom Status Support – The plugin works with custom order statuses, including those created by WooCommerce Order Status Manager and WooCommerce Custom Order Status and Actions.
- Third-Party Email Templates – Status comments can be placed into a third-party email template, either after the order detail or where the plugin's shortcodes are inserted.
- Comment Shortcodes – Two shortcodes output the status comment in an email or display item, either as plain text or wrapped in a formatted paragraph.
- Change From Orders List – You can change an order's status straight from the Actions column in the WooCommerce Orders screen.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for WooCommerce store owners and their support or fulfillment teams who change order statuses regularly and want the reason recorded while keeping control over which customer emails are sent. It suits stores using native WooCommerce statuses as well as custom ones.
