Description

EventOn Action User is a WordPress plugin addon that lets people submit events to your EventON calendar without entering the admin panel. You place the submission form on any page with a shortcode or EventON Block, and logged-in users can manage their own events from a front-end event manager. Permission settings and moderation options control what gets published.

Key Features

  • Front-End Event Submission – Visitors can send in events from a form on your site instead of using the WordPress admin.
  • Shortcode or Block Form – The submission form can be placed on any page using a shortcode or the EventON Block.
  • Event Category Selection – Submitters can choose event types for their event, and admins can assign default type terms.
  • Customizable Form Fields – You control which fields appear on the form and in what order.
  • Front-End Event Manager – Logged-in users get a page where they can browse, search, edit and delete their own events.
  • Role-Based Permissions – You assign capabilities by WordPress user role from the ActionUser settings.
  • Captcha Validation – A built-in CAPTCHA helps block spam submissions.

Who Is It For

This addon is for EventON calendar owners who want their community to contribute events, such as sites running event directories or shared calendars. It suits administrators who need moderation and permission controls over what visitors can submit.
