Description

Storefront Blog Customiser is a WooCommerce extension for sites running the Storefront theme. It adds a Blog section to the WordPress Customizer where you can change how posts and blog pages are displayed. You can also show recent posts on your homepage.

Key Features

  • Customizer blog panel – A new top-level Blog section in the WordPress Customizer groups the settings for each part of the blog.
  • Post meta placement – You choose where post meta such as categories and tags sits relative to the content, on the left, right, above, or below.
  • Per-area post layouts – Different post layouts can be assigned to blog archives, single posts, and the homepage blog component separately.
  • Full-width archives and posts – Archives and single posts can be set to full width, which removes the sidebar from those pages.
  • Magazine column layout – Posts can be arranged into columns, a layout the source describes as common on magazine sites.
  • Homepage blog component – Recent posts can be shown on the homepage, with a choice of post style and a 1, 2, or 3 column arrangement.
  • Storefront grid alignment – Layout changes line up with the Storefront grid so elements on the page stay aligned.

Who Is It For

This extension is for owners of WordPress sites built on the Storefront theme who want more control over how their blog looks, whether the blog supports an online store or the site is run as a blog or magazine. It requires both Storefront and WooCommerce to be installed.
