Description
Storefront Parallax Hero is a WooCommerce plugin that places a customizable hero component on the Storefront theme homepage. You control the title, body text, colors, and an optional call-to-action button, and you can set a plain color, image, or video background with an optional parallax effect and overlay. A shortcode also lets you place hero components elsewhere on your site.
Key Features
- Customizer Controls – After installing the plugin, a new top-level section appears in the WordPress Customizer where you adjust the hero component's settings.
- Content and Button – You set the hero's title, body text and their colors, and can add an optional call-to-action button.
- Content Alignment – The hero content can be aligned centrally, to the left, or to the right.
- Parallax and Overlay – You decide whether the background scrolls with a parallax effect and can apply a semi-opaque overlay to make the text stand out.
- Layout Width – The hero can span the full browser width or match the width of the main content area.
- Shortcode Placement – The parallax_hero shortcode lets you add unlimited hero components across your site, including product category pages, blog posts, and single product pages.
Who Is It For
This plugin is for site owners using the Storefront WooCommerce theme who want a prominent hero section on their homepage or other pages. It suits stores and blogs that need control over hero content, background media, and layout without custom coding.
