Description
FacetWP Flyout is an add-on for FacetWP that displays filter facets inside a slide-out panel instead of leaving them on the page. It is meant to help with mobile support, where screen space is limited. You trigger the panel with a button or link that carries the facetwp-flyout-open CSS class.
Key Features
- Slide-out filter panel – Filter facets are presented in a panel that slides out, keeping the page itself uncluttered.
- Mobile-friendly filtering – The flyout is designed to make filtering workable on small screens.
- Trigger button or link – You open the flyout by adding a button or link with the facetwp-flyout-open CSS class.
- Facets shown by default – Unless you change it, the flyout lists the facets already on the page, in the same order, leaving out Pager, Map and User Selections facets.
- Control which facets appear – You can limit the facets shown in the flyout or change their order.
- Add extra content – User Selections and other content or extra elements can be placed in the flyout through its template.
- Translatable button text – If the button text needs translating, you add the button with PHP instead of plain HTML.
Who Is It For
This add-on is for WordPress sites that already use FacetWP for content or product filtering and want a filter interface that works on narrow screens. It suits site owners who prefer filters to sit in a panel that opens on demand rather than staying visible on the page.
