A timeline shows shoppers where they are in the process, and each step can be validated before the customer moves on. The aim is a tidier checkout that is easier to complete.
Key Features
- Multi-step checkout – The checkout is broken into separate stages instead of one long page of fields.
- Step timeline layouts – You pick from ten timeline designs, five vertical and five horizontal, and can choose a different one for mobile visitors.
- Timeline color control – Colors for each step and status, including previous, current and next, can be adjusted to match your theme.
- Icons or numbers – Steps can be marked with numbers or with icons, using the built-in set or your own uploads.
- Merged steps – Billing and shipping can be combined into one step, and order info with payment into another, to shorten the process.
- AJAX field validation – When enabled, shoppers cannot continue to the next step until all required fields are filled in.
- Disable shipping step – If your products are not shipped, the shipping step can be switched off so it never appears.
- Login and register at checkout – Through integration with YITH Easy Login for WooCommerce, existing customers are asked for their password and new emails can create an account without leaving checkout.
