Description
MainWP Sucuri is a MainWP extension that adds Sucuri security scanning to your MainWP Dashboard. It uses the Sucuri SiteCheck tool to check managed sites for threats such as malware and malicious JavaScript, and it lets you watch blacklist status across several reputation sources. Scan reports stay available in the dashboard, and scans are started by hand.
Key Features
- Dashboard Security Management – Security scanning and status checks are handled inside the MainWP Dashboard instead of site by site.
- Blacklist Monitoring – You can check whether a site appears on blacklists from sources such as Google Safe Browsing, Norton Safe Web, Phish Tank and SiteAdvisor.
- Manual Scans Only – Because of Sucuri API terms, scans must be started manually; scheduled scans and scanning several sites at once are not supported.
- No Sucuri Subscription Needed – The extension works with Sucuri's free SiteCheck tool, so a Sucuri.net subscription is not required.
- Unlimited Dashboards – You can use the extension on as many MainWP Dashboards as you manage.
- Scan Report Access – Scan reports are kept available in the dashboard, and the extension reminds you to scan regularly.
Who Is It For
This extension is aimed at agencies and freelancers who manage multiple client WordPress sites through the MainWP Dashboard and want security checks in the same place as their other site management. It suits those who prefer to run scans on demand rather than on a schedule.
